    I wonder why Lite version would need Internet access and my location?
    Usually that permissions are needed for ads (AdMob). But I can’t see any.

    So is it some obsolete manifest that specifies the permissions even though they are not used? Or maybe it is some “user tracking” and “phoning home”? (I hope it’s not)

    (actually version 1.8 required those permissions too)

    Another question I have is why did the size increase so much? I can hardly believe replacing some buttons and “removing ‘free’ from app name” would cause that. So is that because of something you’ve forgotten to mention in the “What’s New”?
    (1.8.2 I have now is just 448 KB, while 2.0 is more than 2x bigger – 960 KB)

    Very good work! If I may offer a few (hopefully) criticisms:
    1) This seems very much so like Evernote. The only benefit I see over it is the widget, which will display the content on your home screen. This is nice. However, I see a problem being searching and image-based text recognition being absent. Overall this isn’t a major killer for me, but this is…
    2) I already use astrid tasks. The documents I make and the tasks I do are generally very closely integrated. I wish I could have a program that combines the best of both words: a note program (such as yours or Evernote) but one that also integrates the ability to make the note a task (with reminders at periods I may select – in the notification bar).

    Hope you’re able to integrate something like this! I’d be very happy to purchase such a product.

    I just love your app. I had the pleasure of being a beta tester and have now bought the pro version.

    One thing though, I don’t see a widget anwhere!

    Cheers,

    Me gustaria la posibilidad de utilizar el envio de notas para hacer pedidos, dejando previamente el producto no variable en la nota
    Ejemplo:
    Fix Variable Fi x Variable
    axxxx cam 2 unit 4 € 8 €
    axxxx bed 3 unit 75 € 225 €
    axxxx cup 12 unit 1 € 12 €

    muy agradecido por su atención

    Hi,

    Thank you all!

    @Sabio
    The Lite version is using Flurry to keep track of the usage of the app. Nothing is sent to us except crash logs witch you will have to send your selves.
    The size has increased since we have aded allot more graphics to the app and for more resolutions.
    @Matt
    Thank you for your input. If you have any suggestions please post these in our feedback forum: feedback.mobisleapps.com.
    @Pedro
    If you longpress your homescreen and choose widget you will see MobisleNotes in the list.
    @Francisco
    Do you think you could write in english? Google translate of what you wrote doesn’t make sense. Sorry about this.

    Have you guys heard of `pngout`? (or any other image optimizer)
    I guess some of those extra ‘kilos’ could be cut off without any major effort.

    I have run a quick experiment with pngout:
    drawable – 24 KB less
    drawable-hdpi – 19 KB less
    drawable-mdpi – 11 KB less
    Which gives in total 54 KB of saved space with just 5 minutes of playing with image resources.

    I do believe you also do not put ‘pro’ image resources into ‘lite’ version, do you?

    What about that proimages.png of 22 KB?
    And that 20+32 KB sdcard_to_pro.png?
    Another 74 KB of wasted space in so called ‘lite’ version?

    I would like to buy the pro version but get a “There are no matches in Android Market” after clicking the upgrade link through the app on my phone.

    Isn’t the pro version available internationally?

    @Sabio
    We’ll be looking in to this. It’s quite strange that this discussion almost never occurs on the iPhone platform. Or rather strange that the Android platform (or the phones) is badly designed when it comes to memory.

    @Daniel
    I should be. Where are you located? Are paid apps available in your country?

    Is there any way of alternate buying (ie paypal) the Pro version? I’m in Hungary where paid apps are not available in the Market…

    Nothing strange here. iPhone has 16/32 GB of memory for everything, _including_ applications! And Android only got “store to SD” option in 2.2. So those like me who stuck with 2.1 have only about 150-200 MB for applications and settings storage. Hence the need to get applications into “best shape possible”.
    Besides the smaller the application the quicker it loads and the less often it will be unloaded by the OS. So it’s good from every perspective.

    I’d also like to purchase the pro version but am currently traveling in asia. Seems I also cannot purchase the pro version until I am back in the US. Any suggestions on how I can give you money and get the app in return?

    very good application. Can you add bigger widget like 4×4 in a new version?

    Thank you. MWM from PL

    I bought it from Android market today (15/2 2011) and only got the v.1.0.1 something version, without widget and everything. I refunded quickly but I do want the pro-version. But won’t download again until I’m sure that I will get the right version.

    There are only one pro-version availible on market, plus the “lite” version. I upgraded to pro from the lite-version, and got this old one without widget.

  14. 14 John said at 15:35 on February 18th, 2011:

    It’s a great app I really love it but somehow I stumbled upon a bug in the Pro version (1.0.2) on my HTC Desire using the default HTC sence as my app launcher and not any other 3rd party apps.

    The Widget isn’t working properly after the app is moved to the SD card. When I would like to add it to home screen it doesn’t appear in the widget menu anymore. I thought that moving the app back to the phone would solve the problem but unfortunately it does nothing. The only way to solve it was to reinstall it and leave it on the phone.

    This bug unfortunately makes the option to move the app to the SD totally useless for those who would like to use the widget.
    I hope this would be fixed soon

    PS: I don’t know why you write in the title that this version of app is 2.0 which isn’t true! It’s the 1.0.2 version in the Android Market, it only confuse costumers and drawing them away to bug ti. I recommend to fix this small issue as well.

    John:
    Unfortunately this is a restriction in the Android system, the widget will always be limited when the app is installed to the sd-card.

    The Lite-version is 2.0.2, while the PRO version is currently 1.0.2.

    I have bought Mobisle Notes Pro, and although the app is awesome, I have an issue that is awful. Every time I boot my phone, the app starts automatically asking me to create a new note. Then, I close the app and everything seems to work properly. Is there any way to fix this behaviour?

    Any chance of adding google task sync?

  18. 18 Piotr said at 15:27 on July 11th, 2011:

    Any chance for further development – introduction of new features? I use the app for over an year but I feel like Mobisle Notes is standing still.
